Partida Final is regularly updated to reflect changes in legislation, social benefit amounts and administrative procedures. On this page you can track all changes made to the site content.

February 2026 - Interactive workflows v5

  • 4 new interactive workflows with full translation into English, Spanish and French (16 new files in total)
  • Legal deadline calculator (deadline-calendar.html) - enter the date of death and answer 5 questions; the tool automatically calculates ~15 legal deadlines (death registration, Stamp Duty, IRS tax, survivor's pension, etc.) with a visual Gantt timeline, countdown in days, urgency colours (red/amber/green), localStorage save and calendar export (.ics)
  • Asset and debt inventory (asset-inventory.html) - interactive tracker with 6 tabs (bank accounts, insurance, property, vehicles, investments, debts); each item has a status (discovered / entity contacted / document received / resolved); real-time dashboard with asset, debt and net value totals; generates a formatted "Statement of assets" summary for the Modelo 1 Stamp Duty declaration; data saved to localStorage. Note: available via direct access; will be added to navigation in a later phase.
  • Notification tracker (notification-tracker.html) - select entity categories (banks, insurers, telecoms, energy, water, government, etc.) and the tool generates a pre-filled list of major Portuguese entities (CGD, BPI, Millennium, Fidelidade, MEO, NOS, EDP, etc.); track each notification's status (pending / sent / awaiting response / resolved) with dates, notes and contact method; automatic alerts for entities without a response for more than 15 or 30 days; direct link to the letter generator; overall progress dashboard
  • Document checklist generator (document-generator.html) - 7-question wizard (situation, relationship, marital status, property, minor children, will, debts) generating a personalised checklist with only the relevant documents (~10-15 out of ~25 total); each document shows where to obtain it (Conservatoria, Portal das Financas, Balcao Herancas, etc.), estimated cost (10-375 EUR), mode (online or in person), estimated time and a link to the relevant site page; includes a "What to bring to the notary" card; checkboxes with progress saved to localStorage
  • Full translation of all 4 workflows - each workflow available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, with Portuguese entity names and legal terms preserved in all languages
  • All workflow data saved to localStorage for persistence between visits (keys: pf-prazos-data, pf-inventario, pf-notificacoes, pf-docs-*)
  • New cards on the home page for the 3 accessible workflows (deadline calculator, notification tracker, document checklist)
  • "Workflows" section in the sidebar navigation expanded with 3 new items in all 4 languages
  • Service worker updated to v11 with 16 new cached URLs

February 2026 - Interactive workflows v4

  • 3 new interactive inheritance workflows - Inheritance simulator (calculates who inherits, costs and deadlines), Accept or reject inheritance (decision tree for accepting/rejecting), Resolve inheritance disputes (conflict resolution escalation)
  • Full translation of all 3 workflows into English, Spanish and French (9 new files)
  • Professional report printing - each workflow generates a formatted report for printing with header, date and legal disclaimer
  • New "Workflows" section in the sidebar navigation in all languages
  • New CSS styles for workflow results (result blocks, quota bars, deadline chips, scenario cards)
  • Service worker updated to v10 with 12 new cached URLs
  • Sitemap updated with 12 new entries and hreflang for all 4 languages

February 2026 - Improvements v3
